We recognize that compliance in web3 is a collective effort, and we are not working in isolation. We are partnering with different organizations and counting on various legal professionals who share our vision of building a secure, privacy-preserving, and regulation-aligned decentralized identity system. Through strategic collaborations, assessments, and community-driven discussions, we aim to actively shape the regulatory framework for self-sovereign identity reusability in web3.

Ongoing Collaboration & Industry Engagement

idOS is a proud member of the , a non-profit association committed to fostering a balanced and innovation-friendly regulatory environment for the crypto industry across the EU.

As a member, idOS benefits from direct engagement with policymakers and legal experts involved in shaping key frameworks in the EU. This participation allows us to stay ahead of evolving compliance standards and contribute to the development of practical, innovation-supportive rules for decentralized identity and Web3 infrastructure in Europe.

Taylor Wessing noted that “the system balances innovation with regulatory compliance by providing a decentralized infrastructure for KYC data storage and permissioned sharing” concluding that “its passporting and data ingestion frameworks therefore offer significant potential to reduce friction in customer onboarding processes without compromising regulatory standards or data protection requirements.”

Our goal is to build a strong community of compliance professionals who can drive innovation while ensuring that decentralized identity remains secure, transparent, and legally sound. If you're a legal professional, compliance expert, or industry stakeholder looking to engage in these discussions, we invite you to be part of the movement. Reach out to legal@idos.network.
